It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of former Italian Ambassador to the Philippines, Massimo Roscigno, on August 11, 2020.
Amb. Roscigno's first appointment to the Philippines was from 1988 to 1992 as Counsellor and Deputy Head Mission of the Embassy of Italy in Manila. He then came back to the Philippines to be the Italian Ambassador from 2014 to 2017.
During his years as Ambassador, he actively supported the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines.
"He has been a great and charismatic Italian Diplomat figure that served the Country with professional dedication." comments ICCPI's President Sergio Boero.
"Massimo was also a personal friend. He supported ICCPI with great commitment, but overall he was a friend of the Italians in the Philippines."
ICCPI is grateful for the support he showed through the years.
